Nanny Agency

What is the difference between an au-pair and a nanny?

This really depends on which country you are in when asking the question!

In the USA, nanny and aupair are more or less the same thing and usually

American families intepret an aupair as someone from abroad. Whilst in

UK, a nanny has to be NNEB qualified and childcare is the chosen career

for British nannies. In Europe it is a bit of both.

For aupairs going to the USA, at least 200 hours of childcare experience

is required, whilst in Europe aupairs not required to have any experience.
