Wir leben in einer netten Umgebung in einer 3 stöckigen Villa. Unser Aupair wird als ein Familienmitglied behandelt. Sie/er wird ein eigenes Zimmer (20m2) und Bad haben und alle Angenehmlichkeiten des Hauses wie z.B. DVD, Internet (soviel Stunden sie/er will), Orgel, Home Theater, Stereoanlage, Satelliten , Bücher usw. benutzen dürfen. Letzten Sommer haben wir ein ganz liebes Aupair aus Deutschland gehabt. Waehrend ihrer Sommerferien war sie bei uns und im Februar ist sie wiedergekommen und wird bis April bleiben. Wir brauchen also ab April ein Aupair, das bis Anfang August, bei uns bleibt. Wir haben ein Sommerhaus in Bozcaada, einer Insel am aegaeischen Meer. Im Sommer sind wir mal da mal in Istanbul. Unser Haus ist in einem grossen Grundstück, wo einer unserer Weinberge (wir produzieren Wein), Obstbaeume wie z.B. Feige , und unser Gemüse- und Obstgarten sind. Unser Aupair kann in ihrer Freizeit Istanbul entdecken oder wenn wir in Bozcaada sind, sich unter 7 sehr beliebten Straenden einen Strand aussuchen. Oder sie/er kann einfach im Schatten faulenzen. Her duties are mainly to teach and speak the mother language and bring them to speak with her in any occasion. Of course helping the family members in light housekeeping is required. For hardhousework we have a nice lady ,a moldavian ,but as family members we all are helping her. At school time Mira, our daughter is coming at 14:00 and our son ,Orkan is coming at 16:30 from the school. We live in Istanbul, Turkey. We have two daughters named Karen age 7, and Sandra named 6. I am a lawyer and speak English, Turkish and French fluently, and my husband who is in the textile business speaks English and Turkish fluently, and some French. My daughters are also fluent in both English and Turkish, and understand some very basic French. I would like a native French speaker (ofcourse who speaks English too) to spend the summer with us in order to help improve the my daughter's French language skills. During the months of July and August we go to our summer house which is on an island called Buyukada, 30 mins. from Istanbul by seabus which run regularly daily. We live in a house on the seaside and there are no cars on the island. (just horse carriages and bicycles for transportation.). Although I work full time in winter, I try to work less in summer, so that I can spend more time with the girls during their holidays. The main responsibilities involved in the job are, playing with the girls, reading to them, speaking to them in French, taking them swimming, accompanying them to their friends, helping them with their basic needs such as getting dressed and undressed, bathtime, mealtimes etc., tidying up her room and their rooms, doing her laundry and ironing, giving a helping hand with housework only when necessary (such as helping out with the girl's laundry and ironing, cooking for them when the other staff, a live-in couple - is on their day off) etc. The job is a full time live-in job, as such that she would of course have some hours during the day while they are resting, or out somewhere with me etc, but the time-frame is not specifically designated beforehand. Once they go to bed at night (generally around 9-9.30 summertime) she will have time for herself. Also she would have 1 and a 1/2 day off, for example one whole day and the next morning. Even though she would come back home from at the end of her day off in the evening, she would be off the next morning until lunch time.

We live in a village that is a suburb of Istanbul. there is public transportation to center every 20 min and it takes about 30-40 minutes to go to Istanbul center. We spend our weekends in the country club Kemer Country or in the city. girls both take ballet classes. Selin is also taking piano classes. Both Ali and Hande are quite an international couple. Hande has been an exchange student to United states when she was 17, therefore family has big respect for young people that are willing to go out of their circle to know new countries, new cultures and new people. Family spent 6 years in Azerbaijan living and working as expatriates, and 1.5 years in Kazakhstan. Selin attended international preschool in Kazakhstan and she is very fluent in English. aylin is also learning some English in her current preschool in turkey but it would be great to bring her English level to a better level. Girls also were fluent in Russian since 1 year ago, but now they seem to have forgotten Russian. Selin is a very picky eater, therefore we need our aupair to be very patient with feeding her.
