Our family has an international background, both mother and father having lived in several countries and speaking several languages. All three children are very energetic and we would hope to get a mother’s helper with lots of energy who likes outdoor life and loves to play with children but also understands the need of some discipline. The children’s mother tongue is Portuguese. The 5 year old twin boys understand German and go to German Kindergarden. The 3 year old girl does not yet speak German. The objective of getting a German- speaking mother’s helper for the summer months, is to help the children improve their German. We have a full time live- in house keeper. Since the employment period will cover the children’s summer holiday, we expect there to be some amount of travelling and expect the mother’s helper to accompany us.
We are looking for a mother's helper/nanny for 2 months in the summer (July and August). The children will be on school holiday and we need someone who is keen to spend lots of time with the kids and speaks German to them. There is likely to be some amount of travelling involved and we would expect the mother's helper/nanny to accompany us. In addition, there are some child-related chores to be performed, including children’s laundry, cleaning and tidying the children’s rooms as well as occasional cooking. The mother's helper will have 1 day and an extra afternoon off per week. However, we need the person to be flexible. Free time during the day has to be adapted to the children's activities and needs.

we would require a nanny starting from july on, as my partner will move to uk before me. after delivering in portugal and spending two to three more months there, we will all move to uk. preferably our nanny will move with us along the way, staying from july to november in lisbon portugal and after move with us to uk. the first months would be more to help with taking care of our lovely dog, after, when the baby is born, also helping with the baby.
