We are both 35 yrs old and have 2 kids. One will go to school from 8:30 am till 2 pm. The youngest will mostly be with me but sometimes the nanny will have to do different activities such as go to the swimming pool, to the beach, to the shops or just go for walks or stay at home. The house should be kept clean, and with a good oganization we will also appreciate help at all times. As we will travel often for 1 or 2 days, the nanny will then be free but she will still be responsible as the housekeeper.

Although we are a relaxed household, our family is a high profile one and I am looking for someone who will be discreet. My staff's families are considered my family and expect our privacy to be respected by all staff members as they would their own. We live in the central part of Muscat in Qurum close to the shopping area. I have 4 staff including a nanny who will be leaving in Sept as her husband has died and she needs to go back to look after her kids. I have a daughter (4 yrs) and a son (1.5). We are not the typical arab family and speak mainly english at home. We travel often and would need a nanny willing to travel with us when necessary.
I need someone who can look after the children and be on night duty when I need them. There will be 1 day off per week and 1 month off per year paid leave with ticket home included. Nanny will be expected to do some light housework when required but I do have someone full time for laundry and cleaning. Food will have to be prepared for the baby. I am looking for someone long term

We are an easy going lot, not much of demands. What my 8 year old currently lack is getting comfortable at home again after the separation. This is the highest priority.
We are only three in the house so it is mainly taking care of us especially the 8 year old. It is important that he feels the nanny to be his trusted friend. During the day when we are all out at work or school spend 2 to 3 hours house keeping, cooking and laundary. Spend time playing with the kids. When they have private tutors at home greet the teachers and offers them tea/coffee. Accompany the kids to activities like football, tennis, swimming etc. Around 3 pm greet the kids from school, make sure they change their cloth and offer them their lunch. I usually come around 5 and would like some food. Do the wash up. Around 8 to 9 make sure the kids are in bed especially the 8 year old. One day off.

My daughter is a very smart 3 year old, who is learning 4 languages at the moment, loves her ballet class and doing puzzles. I would expect them to be discouraged from watching too much Tv and spend as much time as possible playing indoors and outdoors. They should be encouraged to look at books, build things, draw, colour and paint.
