fun loving warm family. mother and father highly educated both in the academic field. daughters are very social and personable. we are a unique american family in that our children are half-filipino half-african american. we both have caribbean roots--mother who is filipino was born in guyana; and father is half-cuban with roots in the the bahamas. we believe in treating all people with respect, dignity and equality. we believe in hard work but like to balance work with relaxation times. we think our close proximity to an american university is a plus; and a nanny with aspiration to be educated in the united states could take advantage of the program for international students. we are looking for a filipina or caribbean woman who is patient and who loves children and who won't mind cleaning and helping with cooking since both parents work. we love filipino, caribbean food (roti, curry chicken, etc!) and we will teach nanny how to cook our family favorites too. we look forward to having a wonderful relationship with our nanny and to support as much as we can with her endeavors to advance in her life. our nanny will receive free room & board and food and will be a part of our family mealtimes and get togethers.

We aim to have lots of family time so you would have plenty of free time to do your own thing. We live on the coast where there are lots of beaches and restrants, movies, bowling, shopping mall.
