We are an international family living in the Dutch countryside and our children are growing up with 3 languages and different cultures. We are very open, we appreciate straight forward communication, our household runs like clockwork and there is little stress around us. We have enjoyed all our au-pairs and look for someone who is flexible, independent, creative, not afraid of taking decisions, patient and has a good sense of humour. A driver's license is a must and the au pair must like living in the countryside. The closest city is 4 kms otherwise, it is a very picturuesque and healthy setting.
prepare light meals, wake, dress, play,creatie, stimulate the children, baths,put to bed...4 hrs off, once a week clean the children's rooms, bathroom, playroom a day amd the day begins at 7.30 - 19.30

i am a single parent moving to arnhem with my 14 year old son in the summer. i need a dutch au pair to assist us with learning dutch and also to help my son when he goes into town shopping etc., and to help us both settle in netherlands. my son will be attending arnhem international school. he will also be attending athletics training several times a week and some competitions at the weekends. he will spend alot of weekends and school holidays in uk with his father. we have a dog (labrador called hector) who loves everybody who takes him for a walk! i will be working fulltime from home but will need to travel within europe sometimes. therefore there will be times when i would expect my au pair to take responsibility for my son. however, he is old enough to support himself for most things. my au pair will have alot of time to study or whatever and will have at least 4 weeks off per year and will be free to come and go during school holidays if son in uk.
Helping care for son. prepare some meals, take to athletics training, walk the dog, light housework duties. Quite alot of spare time as son in school and will be in UK several weekends visiting father.

We are a single family : mother, teenage son + dog. I work full-time from home in marketing, but sometimes need to travel within europe. This is usually overnight and approx. once a month. Occasional longer trips at which times Grandmother would come from Uk to help if necessary. We are sporting, outgoing, sociable, friendly, easygoing. Lots of free time! Son at school and in UK at least twice a month at weekends and some of school holidays. Some light housework, cooking, taking son into town, helping him learn dutch, sometimes take him to athletics training. Occasional overnight care.
