we are an active multi-cultural american navy family with two intelligent and fun kids seeking part-time (15-25 hours per week) help with light housekeeping and some childcare in the yokosuka area. we will be moving there in early july, but don't have a home yet. i will be away very often and need a trustworthy and dependable helper for my husband and kids. must be able to communicate in english. we may have room for a live-in position if we can find a large enough home in mabori kaigan area.
I will be on sea duty quite often and would like to have someone help take care of my husband and kids by helping with light housekeeping - tidying up, making breakfast and packing lunch for kids. We'll pay more if you're willing to heavy cleaning. Our hours are flexible - can be as little as 15 hours per week or as much as 25. Depending upon how large our home is, we may be able to offer a live-in position.

I'm a single parent with an 8 year old well behaved daugher, who is currently in third grade. I'm a Naval Officer attached to a command on Cfay, in Yokosuka Japan. We've lived in a Japan since March of 2007, and will be here until the end of next year. I would prefer to have a permanent live-in nanny, but will settle for a live-in nanny during the time out of town. My daughter loves to play sports,a nd also enjoys taking piano lessons.
Drop off and Pick up daughter from school. Prepare dinner for daughter. Free time belongs to the Nanny. Free time is anytime daughter is in school, and on weekends, unless I'm on work travel out of area.
