we actually live in dormelletto/arona, which is right on lake maggiore, in a large villa with garden and swimming pool. it's a lovely area right at the base of the alps, with skiing only 20 minutes away. we are 30 minutes, by train, to the swiss border, and about 50 minutes from milan. are a very fun loving family. we adore our son (as all parents do...), and everyone says that he is a sweet and friendly young chap. in our free time, we spend most of our time with him. we enjoy going for walks along the lake, taking alex to the park, and just generally enjoying each other's company. mum works from home, so is around most of the day to help out if it's needed, but will be in the office most of the time. we want someone that is willing to be a part of our family, not just another helper. we've already had one girl stay for 9 months, she has enjoyed her time here and is willing to speak to any future applicants.
Alex is in nursery from 9-1, so you will have this time free. You'll need to help out from about 8-9 getting him fed and ready to go. Sometimes taking him, sometimes picking him up. From 1-7, playing, entertaining, going out, etc. You will be responsible for getting his dinner ready (very easy task) and helping with bath time. Most days, someone is here to put him to bed. There will be the occasional night of babysitting, but this is usually after he has gone to bed, so it's basically just keeping an ear out for him. Mum works from home, so is around most of the day to help out. there is a cleaning lady that comes once a week, so housework is minimal, i.e. doing kitchen floors, picking up after alex, emptying/loading dishwasher if it needs it, etc.

35 hours a week. 1 and a half day off on weekends. Take kids from school to ballet classes twice a week. Cook dinner and shop at the grocery store once a week.
