very laid back, we are a typical irish family with a huge extended famiy, someone shy would die a death in our midst but while we are loud we are warm and affectionate, someone who embraces change and has a sense of fun is best suited to us, we are not perfect but we are a happy bunch, not too formal.
we have a live in nanny at the moment and it works really well, ideally somebody who will enjoy the range in age groups, drop and collect from schools, prepare lunches, tidy their rooms with them, play with them and take them on excursions. 1 day off during the week and sunday at the weekend we do travel for work during the year and when we go on holidays we like our nanny to join us.

we are currently living just outside London but are going to move to Co. Cork in Ireland in the very near future (April). Our current au pair is leaving on the 25th February, so we would need you to start on the 26th and then come with us to Ireland shortly after that. Both boys are at school so you would need to take them to school every morning and collect them in the afternoon, then help them with their homework and general studies. Maryanne is at play-school school every morning, so you would be playing and educating her after this. It's very important that you are a confident driver as you will be driving the children to and from school each day. Both my husband and I work full time, so you would be in sole charge of the children from 7:30am until 7pm in the evening. You would have to prepare all their meals, do their laundry and help them keep their rooms clean etc. Free time also whil kids are at school. Several english schools nearby

We are an easygoing family who like to visit the nearby wildlife park or childrens playground. We also visit our holiday home in Schull West Cork during the weekend. I only work part-time and so would only require about 25 hours set per week.

We're an outgoing family that likes to have barbeques and friends around. The kids love arts, crafts, baking and board games. They love jumping on the trampoline and playing with their friends.
We need someone to mind the children and keep them busy, take them to and from school, prepare simple meals and take the kids to the park and library and just keeping them occupied. General tidying up, some light housework, ironing and kids laundry is also needed. Occasional evening and weekend babysitting, but mostly evenings and weekends free.

We are a happy, busy family. Mum and Dad both work but we like to always share a meal in the evenings with the children. It is also very important fro us to have a relaxed communicative relationship with whoever is looking after the kids. Life revolves around the family unit and the boys both love being outside on their bikes, swimming and playing hurling and football. They are active enquiring little guys and also love painting, cooking and reading. we have only had 2 nannies in 5 years, both of whom are still in touch and would be hoping that the boys next nanny would look to stay long term also.

Dear Aupair. let me introduce ourselves: i am 33 years of age and my husband is 30. We are married now 4 years and have 2 children. They mean everything to us. The reason we are looking for an Aupair is to give me company during the time I am off work and to be there for the children when I do work. I am currently on Maternity Leave and will be until September. I was hoping to take on an Aupair in July/aug so that we could get to know each other and the children and by September it would be easier on all of us when I go back to work. I work part-time Monday, Tuesday one week and then the following week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, alternatively. My work is based in Cork City so that is about 1 hours drive from our house which means an early morning start of 7:45am and I return home at 5:45pm. During this time I want the children to have fun in the comfort of their own home with someone who will love them and keep them safe. we are offering 100 euro per week with meals and very good accommodation in our 5 bedroom house near the coast.Currently we are renovating an apartment just next door which can be used by our aupair if they so wish.In return we would like the Aupair to mind the children when I get back to work as well as minding the kids occasionally when we want to go out. are you interested?

My husband is 83. He recently suffered a breakdown which means he has a reflux problem and has trouble swallowing. He is very thin and frail and cannot be left alone for any length of time. Duties would include washing (he is well able to wash himself and is mentally very alert but physically frail but not handicapped in anyway) preparing his breakfast, lunch and light supper. Helping to prepare him for bed, company (not every night) and general help around the house. We have a housekeeper so only light house duties asked. I go to work in the afternoons at present but am very tied by his routine and need to have more freedom. Driving licence or experience important as we are one and a half miles out of Kinsale.
9am - 2 nights off a week need some evenings minding husband i am in a lot of the time so when I am in at night there will be nights off as well. Otherwise I will expect a companion to undress and put to bed with medicine and light supper (ie. thickened soup and yogurt and hot cocoa).
