Nanny jobs in CO. DUBLIN Ireland:
Hello. My name is Francisca, I’m Spanish and 44 years old.
I’m mother to Ismael, 10 years old, and Sofía 3 years old. I’m
the librarian at the Instituto Cervantes of Dublin. I have
been working in the Instituto Cervantes almost 10 years
living in Tunisia, Jordan and Morocco. We are now living in
Dublin, although Mohsen, my husband, lives in Tunisia where
he has his business.
Ismael and Sofía go to the French School in Foxrock between
8,15 and 2,30. In the afternoon they play at home. Ismael
loves to play “battles” with Greek heroes and mediaeval
knights, especially on the computer. Sofía loves the colour
pink, making tea and to play dressing up. We three like to go
on outings during the weekend and to receive friends at
home.
As I work from 9 to 5 pm Ismael and Sofía need someone to
bring them to school and also pick them up and bring them
home in the afternoon, minding them until about 7 pm. They
will also need someone to mind on them when I have to go
shopping or I have a commitment. School is not far from
home and it is possible to go by bus. We have a Peugeot
306 available so a full clean driving license would be useful.
Our house has 3 bedrooms, one for the children, one for
parents and one for the person who is going to help us. At
the moment our cousin Sonia is living with us, aiding with our
instlament in Dublin. She will go back to Spain as soon as
we find someone to help us. Our neighbourhood is very
quiet, with a lot of flowers and gardens to play in, just 20
minutes walk to the sea. Its name is Dun Laoghaire and it’s
located in the South of Dublin.
We hope that the person who is going to live with us will
feel at home and stay all the time she wants.
In the mornings the au-pair
would have to get the
children ready for school,
give them breakfast & bring
the children to school in the
car (school-10 minutes
away). The au-pair would
then be free until 2.30pm
when the children need to
be collected from school
and brought home. They
will be minded until 7pm.
During this time it would be
helpful if the au-pair could
assist the children with
their homework (in French),
play with them and do
activities. In addition give
them their dinner/snacks.
At 7pm, the au-pair is on
his/her own time
Saturday morning the
children will need to be
minded for a couple of
hours. Babysitting will be
requested from time to
time.
