With regards to myself, I am employed by a Greek bank organization. My daily schedule includes leaving my home at 8:00 a.m and returning at 5:30 p.m. or later. As for my husband, he works for an insurance company, so he does not follow a fixed schedule. He usually leaves home at about 10:30 a.m and returns at about the same time as I do. Nevertheless, his schedule can get a little hectic from time to time, so it is not unusual to have him come home in the later evening or even late at night. Now, regarding the children, during the school year, the school bus passes by to pick up both children at 7:30 a.m. but brings them back at different hours : Our daughter returns at 14:30 p.m. and our son at 17:00 p.m. Both children always have English homework to do. For this reason, I would like to kindly ask you to allot four hours per day between the hours of 17:00 p.m and 21:00 p.m for the children’s studies, so that they may prepare the next day’s assignments. In the case that Katerina does not have any homework, since she will be only in grade two (this year she is in grade one), the two of you will be playing and reading children’s books. Anyway, when the school bus drops off Katerina at 14:30 p.m. you will be picking her up and you will be spending time with her either reading or playing, until 17:00 p.m. when Gregory comes home. In general, I ask that you exclusively spend time with the children when their at home and not with the house chores. You will also be responsible for taking Katerina to her various extracurricular activities (tennis, ballet, piano, swimming pool) which take place during the evenings, as for her return. These activities are situated near our home.
