Friendly, hard working, lovly kids, fair, Dear Au pair, we are looking for an open-minded and friendly au pair, to support us in looking after our children. may we introduce ourselves briefly? our family consists of Thordis (35) and Thomas (46) as well as our 3 children Vincent (9), Patricia (8) and Charlotte (4). In November we are expecting our fourth child who however will be taken care by Thordis alone. all children are cheerful and healthy. Thordis is a lawyer but is not practicing at the moment. I am employed as a Managing Director with a big company in Düsseldorf. We all like travelling and doing sports very much. At home we converse in German but we also speak English - so do the two older children as they are attending the International School. we have already been a host family to 3 au pairs and would again like to invite an au pair to stay with us for 1 year. You should be at least 21 years old and a non smoker. Sound English language skills are necessary. A basic knowledge of the German language would be appreciated. we live in a beautiful detached house with a big garden including a pool. The house is situated on the outskirts of Düsseldorf. Both the city center and the nearest language school are located 3 km from our property. You can reach both easily by bus and by tram. The bus stop is 200 m away and the tram station is approximately 1 km distance. The closest shopping facilities are also only 1 km from our home. you will live in a small flat within our house. The apartment consists of a living / bed room (12 sqm), a bathroom (4 sqm) will be for your exclusive use and a separate kitchen / living room with you share sometimes with the kids. your working hours – as a aupair -will be as follows: monday to Friday 07:00 am - 08:15 am and 04:00 pm - 07:30 pm saturday 6 hours additionally babysitting in the evening twice a week you will have 6 to 8 week paid vacation. if you want to be a au pair plus we are open. your main tasks will comprise: • supervising the kids’ homework in English (important!!) • preparing the kids’ breakfast and having breakfast together with the kids • assisting us with the dinner preparation • playing, doing handicrafts and going for walks with the kids • assisting the kids in tidying up their rooms • assisting Charlotte in getting washed and dressed / undressed apart from some small tasks like dish-washing, clearing the table, etc. there is no need to do domestic work as we employ a full-time housekeeper. I am a Nigerian and my husband is a German. we have a lovely little boy,he was born on december 2007. We enjoy going to the gym, watching classic movie, playing games, i enjoy scrabble and he likes chess, painting , black and white photography , old museum are what we like in common.
Have to look after my son while i am away to work, keep him as if he is their, we can live together as a family as one. A honest , reliable nanny is needed.Some one will can feel reliable with.
