I am a full-time working, single American mother, and my daughter is German-American attending 3rd grade at the local German elementary school. We have had 3 au-pairs before, so hopefully this gives us experience welcoming a new person and integrating her into our lives and daily routine. We would really like to find a special nanny who is reliable, responsible, loving, considerate, and patient. She must be able to communicate well in German (no beginners, please). We look forward to hearing from you! Please note that since I am not a German citizen, I regret that I am unable obtain a work permit/visa for non-EU applicants coming to Germany.
Roughly 25 hours per week, mostly from 3:30pm- 7pm weekdays, some babysitting on evenings and on weekend. Main responsiblity is to take care of my daughter once her after-school program ends and take care of her, cook dinner, etc. until I arrive home from work (usually at 7pm). We have a cleaning person but nanny expected to help tidy up, do some grocery shopping during the week, etc.

Dear Aupair,we are a very active and positive American family living in Bad Homburg, near Frankfurt in Germany. We are looking for an aupair who would like to play and look after our two daughters Morgan and Madison in the afternoons. Morgan is attending an international school and Madison will hopefully find a nice kindergarten to go to soon. You would occasionally make them ready in the mornings but mostly you will be free in the morning and on weekends to do whatever you wish to do. We live close to a large park which offers all sorts of leisure facilities, i.e. tennis courts, swimming pool... We live 2 blocks from the centre of Bad Homburg which is a very beautiful and young city. We also have a very quick public transport connection to Frankfurt, which is only about 18 miles from here.We love going swimming together in the summer and on weekends we tend to go away as a family to see other cities regions or even countries and we would be happy to take you with us as a member of our family to show you more of the beauty of Germany and its neighbour countries.
