We are a French family who lived in Australia for 6 years. Our children were born over there and we would like a caring, responsible and enthousiatic nanny with who they can maintain and develop their English and have fun. We have currently a live-in Irish nanny who returns home end of February due to family matters. We would be happy to give to our new nanny tips to make the most of her Parisian life.
Monday to Friday 8h30am till 7h30pm (can changed from time to time) No work required on Saturday and Sunday School runs/pick up for the boy (9 :00am, 12 :00pm, 1 :30pm, 4 :30pm) 5mn walk from home. Eventually checking with the teacher if the day was ok for him. School is on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. No school on Wednesdays. School term is about 10 weeks. About 2 weeks breaks between terms. Preparing /cooking hot lunches, afternoon tea, hot dinner for the children Eventually taking the children to the doctor and buying medicines (like for ear infection, throat infection or other winter goodies) Feed the children, afternoon nap for the little girl (about 2 to 2.5 hours) Keep children area’s and kitchen tidy and clean Take out the children for constructive play and education (judo on Wednesday) Supervise children when playing inside and out Assist with education – reading books, educational play, craft Bath and put into pyjamas Keep a daily diary for the parents On the mother help side: - laundry (washing machine, dryer where appropriate, folding up, put clothes away, some ironing when time permitting and children not around) - Dishwasher (loading and unloading) - some housekeepking help would be a plus. However there is a cleaning lady for the full weekly clean up.
