My husband, Will, our daughter Atlee, and I are a very active, outgoing, energetic family. We adore Atlee and don't want to have to put her in a large scale daycare. Instead, we want her to be cared for in her house by someone who is really committed to caring for children. Atlee is a calm, loving, happy baby and we need your help to ensure she remains so! Atlee is almost 10 months old and still takes 3 naps a day. She is a great eater, and we have been putting her on the potty since she was about 6 months old! She will very likely be the easiest baby you will ever have the joy of caring for. I almost guarantee that every time you go out, you will be complimented on what a beautiful, smiley, social, happy baby you have!Along with the usual job of caring for an infant, we also want her to be exposed to lots of other kids through local play groups and "Babytime" at the local library. Fresh air is also pretty key. We also hope you can help keep our house somewhat tidy, and possibly keep our shelves stocked! We live near a fresh air (summer) market so buying fruits/veggies is a great educational experience. We would love dinner to be started when we get home, but it's more important to us to find the right person for Atlee than anything else! We also have a beautiful dog named Jake. She is a 7 year old lab/hound mix who loves to be around people and Atlee. She doesn't really require any care, but if you're out walking with Atlee, Jake would love to come along---especially if you're going to the river (she adores swimming!). I figure once Atlee is walking, Jake and Atlee can tire each other out! We require someone who is committed to Atlee's well-being. We want someone who will be a positive role-model. Someone committed to teaching her to be a good human being above all else--that means being kind, thoughtful, polite and ethical.
We would like our nanny to take Atlee to playgroups and babytime at the library. Atlee will need to be taught age-appropriate activities. She is an incredible sleeper, so there is usually lots of free time during the day. Some of the nap time will be spent with light housework, and possibly starting dinner, but having dinner ready is secondary to entertaining/caring for our daughter. The work is going to be part-time (likely 3 days per week), but these details have yet to be worked out!

We are a busy family of 5 who live South of the city of Ottawa. We need a loving, caring, responsible nanny to care for us while our mother and father are tied up with their worklife. Mom is very busy and needs help with the running of the home, cooking and cleaning. We will all be in school in September so you will have time to yourself to do the things you need to do from 8-3 everyday (m-th) We are active in hockey and tutoring in the fall and swimming, soccer and Lacrosse in the summer. We are in French Emmersion at school so would love it if you knew french so you could help us with our homework and reading. Dad is sometimes on shift work and may be on call during the night so he'll sleep during the day possibily, mom is gone from 7-7 and would needs help with the cooking, laundry and cleaning. We will be respectful, kind and loving to you. Maddie is 10 and is very athletic and confident but needs love and friendship, Cameron is soon 8 and is hockey and girl crazy, he is the funny man of the house, Andrew is 6 and is a busy big boy who doesn't realize how big he is so he's the rough and tumble guy. Rob is quiet, reserved and serious most of the time while mom is the outgoing crazy woman who loves everyone...but she is fussy and will lay out the plan for you in a nice way from the beginning, mom is a communicator and wants open lines of communication so everyone is consistent and happy.
