We have had au pairs before and it was great. Now we would like to have a nanny. We are used to sharing our home and would like to sponsor a live in nanny. I am of an Irish background and my husband is Swiss. He was born in Canada, but lived there with his relatives for 7 years. The chldren all get along very well and like to play together.
getting the older 2 boys, Julian and Kyle, off to school in time. They walk to school. Driving the older girl to school (the eldest boy watches the 3 younger ones while you do this), and then bring her home again at 3 pm. Mostly it is caring for the 3 younger ones, Shaun, Kelsea, and Charlotte, while I am at work. They play really nicely together and keep each other entertained. A daily routine involves taking them to preschool or school (in September). They will be going to the same school as Gemma in September and will need a drive too. For kindergarten it is only a 1/2 day of school. When the older ones are done school to get them a snack and started on homework before they go play. The girl's also hve to be taken to dance lessons. Gemma goes on Wednesdays and Fridays, Kelsea and Pixie go on Tueadays and Shaun goes Friday. Kyle and Julian are fine and you don't have to take them with you. YOu start at 8 am and are done at 4:30 or 5, depending on meetings at work. It is Monday to Friday and all weekends and holidays are off.
