We are looking for a live-in/live-out nanny for our two young children. We live in Queen’s Park, New Westminster about 5 blocks from the Columbia St Skytrain station. We are looking for someone who will love and care for our children as their own. We appreciate all housekeeping, but the primary focus and purpose for the nanny is to care for our children. we have a daughter, Natalia, who is 5 years old, and a son, Diego, who is 2.5 years old. We are both professionals and work downtown, so we are looking for someone who will look after our children from 7am to 5:30/6pm Mon-fri. our caregiver will prepare and have breakfast with the children, take Natalia to preschool, do a morning activity with Diego, pick Natalia up from preschool, prepare and have lunch with the children, put Diego down for his nap, do an activity with Natalia while Diego is sleeping, and take them out for an afternoon activity when Diego wakes up. On some days, our caregiver may prepare dinner for the family as well. natalia attends a morning preschool program which requires that the nanny be able to drive as it's too far to walk and the bus schedule is not very convenient. We will provide the vehicle. we have a dog, Max, who is a 9 year old yellow lab. He is friendly and pretty mellow. we’re flexible on the live-in or live-out side. As far as live-in accommodations go, we have a room in the main house that is an option, but more likely our care-giver would stay in a separate basement suite that is connected to the house. This basement suite provides a separate kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom/living area, so that our care-giver has some privacy and private space to themselves. In addition, the basement suite has its own entrance at the back of the house.
Mainly responsible for children. Driving kids to and from elementary and preschool. Preparing breakfast and lunch for the children and themselves. Occasional preparaion of evening meal, and occasional light housekeeping.
