my little girl and i are living with my parents, so there are four of us in total at the house. my parents are warm and open and friendly and will always go out of their way to make people comfortable. my mum has high standards and is quite particular about how she likes to keep her house, but she is brilliant fun at the same time. both my parents are in their 60s, my dad is retired and my mum is a gp. i am very easy-going and friendly and my little girl is a bundle of fun. she is interested in everything and has lots of energy. she loves everything from trampolining and swimming to reading and painting and thoroughly enjoys being kepy busy. we are looking for someone with energy and experience as well as a real love for life. i need to feel totally comfortable with this person as there will be times when i will not be around.

Hello Nannies we are Hermione and Ed, two busy parents looking for an intelligent, loving person who can help look after our two boys, Alex (5 years) and Kit (6 months). It's a full time job but an interesting one: Alex has started school and needs someone who can help him learn about the world in a fun way and answer his (frequent) questions, while Kit needs someone who will pull funny faces, pass him his toys when he drops them, blow kisses on his neck and feed him/put him down for a nap/change his nappy when he's fed up. we live near the centre of Cambridge, a beautiful city where there's lots to do for grown-ups and children alike - plenty of parks, libraries, swimming pools, toddler groups, museums, boat/bus trips, pubs, nightclubs, shopping. I will let you work out which bits are for the children and which for the grown- ups! There is a large international population here and it is easy to meet friends from many countries, as well as take the train to London for a nice day/night out. as a family we like cooking for and meeting up with friends, building stuff (from models to houses!), getting on our bikes and exploring, running and going to races, travelling, reading and discovering stuff. Or coming home and playing in the park or the garden. ideally we would like to meet someone who has some nannying or teaching experience, basic qualifications and who has looked after a baby before. We can help anyone coming to Cambridge find accommodation and meet other parents/nannies but I'm afraid we do not have the space for someone to live in. details of the job: it's full time (8.30-6pm, Mon-fri) live-out. Duties include planning and supervising fun, outings & homework, preparing and helping with meals and general education and loving. No housework, beyond helping boys keep their rooms tidy. We can offer £250 per week net (ie after taxes) and we need to employ someone who has a visa to work in the Uk, but we are willing to help with Uk paperwork

We are professionals - husband is estate agent and i am bbc tv presenter - our children go to lovely private school attached to cambridge university - we live in idyllic moated manor house and our little two year old is a sweetheart - loves painting and chatting to the nanny and helping with the washing (especially loading tumble dryer!) Our 7 and 8 year old love having a fun young person around - we are in our forties! we'd love you to be part of our family.
