We are a "young at heart" couple with a rather informal way of living and lots of friends from all over the world. Our son is very lively and good natured. He loves food and music and is already quiet tall for his age. He speaks French and German.
I would like her to work 6 days for 5 hours, peferebly in the aternoons, since my sun visits the kindergarden in the mormings. Sundays are of course off. During her working time I would like her to do some light house work aswell. (I have a cleaning lady once per week for the basic house work). I would be very happy to assist her in finding a language course if she wants to improve her French or German or any other language. I think it would be of great benefit for her if she wanted to perfectionate her German since we speak German in our family.

we are a friendly and outgoing family looking for an english speaking au-pair to look after our three kids and help us with the housework. my husband and i are in our 30ies and we have three boys: guillaume 4 yrs old and twins paul and louis 2 years old. we live now in the centre of brussels after having lived for 12 years in london so our mother language is french but we speak english at home. to give more details about the job.... with the kids we need somebody to help us (early morning i.e. 7am to wake them up, dress them, feed them and bring them to school) and in the afternoon i.e. at 3.30/4pm pick them up from school, give them the bath, play with them and feed them and put them in bed at 7.30pm. for the housework, this should take around two hours a day: washing machine and dishwasher to empty, fold clothes and iron some, cleaning and tidying up. we would need 3 baby-sit a week and saturday morning. rest of weekend is free. if we go away for the weekend you would also be free for the whole weekend. we are a very friendly and outgoing family. we like to talk and discuss different topics with the new person who will be with us. we have already had two previous nannies and we could give you their contacts if you want to talk with them. for us it us very important to get along as you will become part of the family. we like playing tennis, golf, swimming, opera, music, theatre and of course travelling and discovering new places. we also like to spend some of our weekends at the countryside, seaside here in belgium or to visit nearby cities in or outside belgium so if you wanted to visit those places you would be more than welcome to come with us. we would need help starting as soon as possible and would like the person to stay with us for at least a year as it is always difficult for the children to say goodbye to the person who cared for them. concerning the salary we are ready to give 500 euro per month and of course free accommodation and food. your room will have its own tv and computer with internet connection.
Taking care of children and house: early in morning (6.45/7am to 8.15/8.30am); dress, feed and bring children to school; after school (from 3.30/3.45PM to 8pm) play with them/homework with the old one, give them bath, feed them and put them in bed. 2/3 babysits per week, saturday morning if we stay in Brussels. Housework should take around 2 hours per day (cleaning, washing, ironing, tidying, cooking dinner, food shopping).

dear au pair, look we are a pretty laid back family, you would have your own room with a bed, cupboard, couch (lots of light) and tv/stereo. we just need a little extra help, up until now i've been working part-time (mornings) and then taking care of the kids and i'm feeling a bit disatisfied as i feel like i'm doing everything halfway. we would pay for you to have a language course and would give you about € 120 a week. we have a housekeeper who comes once a week to clean for 8 hours, so apart from cleaning up a bit after yourself and the little ones if they make a mess, cleaning is not a major part of this job (i would consider it as if you were part of the family pulling your own weight). brussels is a fun city for young people and very multicultural and great for language learning. contact us if you find yourself interested. we are fair and honest.
I only need an aupair from 15.00 to 18.00 hours, need to pick up 1 child or 2 from school at 15.15, drive home (20 min drive), help with homework, play with 4 year old, start dinner. Babysit a couple times a week in the evening. Work one afternoon of the weekend. Free time would be from the time she wakes up until school pick up. Most evenings are free apart from one evening on the weekend (probably saturday), and one evening during the week.

i live with my two girl (2 under 2 who are generally (and surprisingly) not that difficult to manage (unless they are exhausted) and whose dad visits and stays over once a month. i am going to be extremely busy at work for the next 12 months and could do with someone who could take them to the creche in the morning, collect them in the evening when necessary, babysit occasionally and mind them on the v. rare occasions they are unwell. the girls are great company, laugh lots but will keep you on your toes!
