Letter of Introduction – Pillai Family We moved recently to Perth, WA after living in Auckland, New Zealand for 11 years. My name is Vijay and Kurinji is my wife. We have two lovely children, Harshil (10 years) and Tejal (9 months old baby). I have a business in Auckland and I travel frequently. I am also hoping to expand my business to WA. Kurinji is a doctor in Ob & Gyn and works for WA’s largest hospital in Perth. Kurinji is very excited about her work and has a busy life style. Harshil attends the local school that is within walk able distance. He is a keen sportsman and a member of the local athletics and swimming clubs among other things. Tejal goes to crèche full time and generally sleeps through the night. As a family we like to be busy and cheerful. We also like to keep things simple, work as a team and look after each other. We like to travel a lot and like picnics, sight seeing and beach walks whenever possible. We cook dinner on most days and we try to maintain a balance between ethnic foods and all other types of food. We are very health conscious and carefully choose our foods (skinless chicken, lot of veggies etc). We are happy to expand our pantry stocks to include items to accommodate the needs of a demi pair living with us. We are religious and very subtle about it. In fact, we believe all the faiths help every one to achieve similar outcomes. All of us like technology and interested in all sorts of gadgets. We have cable internet and use it a lot very constructively. We are interested in a demi-pair who is looking for a home away from home. We would like to think that a demi pair is an extended part of our family and treat him/her accordingly. The essential qualities that we look for in a demi pair is openness, cheerful outlook and some one that has a purpose such as going to a language school etc. A positive attitude will be a great asset too. we are searching for a nanny/governess who will assist us in all aspects of care for our three three year old children. this will include meal prep, laundry, bathing, tidying and bedtime routines. also, and more importantly, it will include playing, reading stories and going for walks, and swimming. one of our children has cerebral palsy and you will also be required to do three hours per day of physical therapy with this child. this is not hard work, but requires knowledge and dedication. we also do three hours a day. there may be overseas travel. you will live with us and work 35-45 hrs per week, but be flexible and relaxed. you will have your own room, access to broadband and our second car, and own tv, shared bathroom with children. you will have 1-2 days a week free. allow us to introduce ourselves. we are a unique family. we are looking for someone likeminded in as much as we adopt a simple approach to life, we hardly watch tv, read a lot of books, keep chickens and grow vegetables. we eat wholefoods and spicy foods and swim at the beach. we play music and sing a lot! we value people above things. we are christians and belong to a vibrant christian community. we work hard and play hard. we have a large and supportive extended family. we are relaxed and casual, we are australian after all! our attitude to cerebral palsy is that as parents, we are responsible for our child’s rehabilitation, and we are currently pursuing non-mainstream therapies. we need someone who is willing to become passionate about our child’s rehabilitation. likewise, we take responsibility for the education of all our children including their literacy, numeracy, spiritual, musical and social education, and we pursue various educational activities at home. we are interested in someone who has familiarity with advanced biomechanical rehabilitation (abr) and/or the glen doman / iahp techniques, although this is not essential. likewise experience with cerebral palsy and multiple birth children is desirable. thankyou for your time in reading about us.

I have only just seperated from my husband of 10 years. 6 months ago to be exact. So I am finding being single trying at times. My daughter Taylah who is nearly six goes to a christian school and is in year one. She has a very kind heart, loves animals and loves one on one attention. She loves to swim and loves the outdoors. She is very cuddly, obedient and a gorgeous girl. My son Jaxon is 3, he turns 4 in October and starts kindy 2 days a week in 2008. He can be a bit more of a handful, hard for me to put to sleep is the main concern. and he misses his dad not being around so much. I really would love someone to cook a few nights a week, and just some general cleaning duties. Dishes, making kids beds. There would be days I need you to drive them to school, probably 3 times a week. I work as a emergency veterinary nurse so my times vary but my days stay the same. I also study a real estate course which I want to be able to spend a lot more time doing. I also would like to go out at least once a week, now that I am single. I am 32 years of age, love my job with animals and love what I am learining about real estate. However any spare time I have I am cooking, cleaning etc and I want to spend my time with my children. All salary is negotiable as is your time off. My kids love being in the outdoors so I really would like a lady that likes to exercise, take them on bike rides, swimming , zoo outings etc. I am trying to get there lives a lot more structured and we move into our new house in the middle of July so I was wanting the new nanny to be a part of our family if possible.
